When I was 22
a drag queen told me that I was destroying my face with foundation. “You don’t need it!” she said, “Let that skin breathe, baby girl.”
I thought about this when I was in the shower this morning thinking those 7:30 a.m. shower thoughts and trying to remember why I stopped wearing foundation, among other things.
I haven’t worn it since.
