Once we were sitting in our early morning Spanish class and my friend was putting cream cheese on a bagel and singing, “Bagel, bagel, bagel, I made you out of bagel,” to the tune of the dreidel song and the teacher came stomping up and was like, “What! What was that? What are you saying?” and my friend froze and the teacher was like, “Come on, what did you just say?” and by this point the entire class was silent and my friend had to be like, “Bagel… bagel.. bagel… I made you out of… bagel?” and the teacher was like, “Oh. Okay.” I never figured out what the teacher thought that she was saying, but it’s one of those things that’s hilarious in retrospect because it didn’t happen to you.
