Stencil graffiti by Priest in Mobile, AL

Hope everybody had a good holiday! I didn’t get to draw nearly as much as I thought I would (things I did do: cooked all of the things, ate all of the things, read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in two days) but here is something I did get to do. For everybody who wanted more Priest!Gerard (evil redux).
Aid from the Padre (1962) by Héctor Rondón Lovera
4 June 1962. Navy chaplain Luis Padillo was walking around giving last rites to dying soldiers as sniper fire surrounded him. A wounded soldier pulled himself up by clinging to the priest’s cassock, as bullets chewed up the concrete around them. Hector Rondón Lovera, who had to lie flat to avoid getting shot, later said that he was unsure how he managed to take this picture.
