You know how Laura says she’s the luckiest transsexual in the world?Well, yeah.
(Context: She said she’s lucky cuz she and her wife take the same size shoe so they can share. ♥)

“Cheekbones, it’s good to see you again” is the gayest thing I’ve ever heard.

Shout-out to Bill Maher for always showing love to the red states in his tour schedule. He played my hometown of Charlotte twice (!!!) in the last couple years, which is crazy because big name comedians don’t perform here too often. (We do pretty well in the live music department. If an artist is stopping in the Carolinas at all, they’re almost definitely playing Charlotte. Obviously, though, we’re frequently sidestepped in favor of Atlanta.)

Anyway, Maher is performing in Columbia, SC, tonight. That’s noteworthy to me because nobody EVER tours in South Carolina (for good reason!) and I have a few friends at the U of SC. Maher said, “I have found that, in every red state, no matter how red it is, there are a lot of liberal, progressive-thinking people. And when I come to town, they come out of the woodwork.”

He also played Tulsa, Memphis, and Baton Rouge among others on this Red State Tour. So that’s pretty cool. Good on him.
